We are looking for experienced Platform Engineers to work with our Westpac One Business Platform Squad. This squad is responsible for the infrastructure and platforms used by the Westpac One Business.
Please note: - This position requires participation in an afterhours on call support roster.
Ko tāu mahi What you’ll do
Create Jenkins pipelines to provision infrastructure and deploy changes.
Create Jenkins pipelines to build JavaScript and Maven based Docker images.
Maintain observability using current Westpac practices.
Maintain monitoring and alerting using current Westpac practices.
Maintain AWS based infrastructure (EKS, EC2, Elasticache, S3, Load balancers).
Be a contributing member of the squad by helping us improve and optimize current infrastructure and pipelines.
Provide after-hours support (on-call) for the platform.
Maintain IaC based AWS hosting environments.
Vulnerability management and developer support.

Experience creating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins pipelines).
Experience engineering fault-tolerant, resilient systems that are observable, monitored, and have alerting.
Linux administration.
Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and tools like helm, Argo CD, Helm, Helmfile.
Experience using Terraform with pipelines.
