Description
Followmont Transport are currently seeking a motivated and detail-orientated individual to join our PM Freight Office team! You will be responsible for the completion of the day-to-day tasks including administration duties, customer enquires and email monitoring. This Full-Time, entry level role is integral to our operation and would suit a friendly, positive, and motivated individual who has an interest in developing their career within the transport industry.
The Role:
Monday to Friday | 3pm - 5pm start | Full Time Permanent
Occasional Saturday - Rotating roster.
Ad hoc overtime may be requested with increased freight volumes
Breakdown and consolidation of paperwork (Pallet counts, weights, and load plans) for distribution throughout Queensland and NSW.
Photocopying and scanning of all relevant documentation as per company and customer requirements.
Maintain, collate paperwork, and bag documents required for linehaul movements with each load dispatched (for example, Consignments Notes, Dangerous Goods & Fatigue Management documents).
Data entry of Outward Linehaul Movement sheets daily i.e. load destinations, load weights, fleet numbers, driver names and contact details, contractor detail, pallet detail, dispatch times etc.
Other reasonable tasks as requested by your Supervisor / Manager from time to time.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Administration experience preferred, but not essential
Experience within the transport industry is also highly regarded
A team player who is willing to provide support to the wider team
A strong level of communication and problem-solving coupled with the ability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Have a passion for providing exceptional customer service & interpersonal skills
