ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Policy Officer, you will be responsible for creating and formatting template internal policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and clarity across the board. You will report directly to the Interim COO and collaborate closely with the Company Secretary, HR, IT, and other departments. This role focuses on writing and refining content rather than implementation, making it ideal for someone with a strong background in corporate or business governance and excellent writing skills.
DUTIES
Create and format template internal policies and procedures.
Conduct research on acts and policies to ensure compliance.
Develop procedures from existing policies.
Interpret and refine guidelines for internal use.
Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with intranet systems.
Strong writing skills, ideally with a content writing background.
Experience in corporate or business governance.
Ability to interpret and apply policies internally.
Understanding of Australian policies (Fair Work Act, etc.).
