Position OverviewWe are currently hiring a Pool Crew Team Member to work on our fibreglass pool installation crew. This role requires a motivated, hands-on individual who can support the team in managing on-site tasks while ensuring quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, is a team player, and is eager to grow within the company.
What You’ll Do: • Assist in measuring elevations and setbacks for pool installation
Help with layout of project work sites based on supplied plans
Operate and direct excavation equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and mud buggies
Support training and mentoring of all staff members
Aid in forming and pouring rough structural concrete (experience with finished or stamped concrete is an asset but not required)
Assist in plumbing connections and installation of pool equipment
Help with initial water balance and start-up of the pool system
Communicate with clients as needed and address any concerns
Ensure safe work practices and quality control within all aspects of a pool installation
What We’re Looking For: • In-ground pool installation or relevant construction experience considered an asset
Previous experience in plumbing or electrical industries would be considered an asset
Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
Basic knowledge of building plans/prints is an asset
Experience using hand tools, battery tools, and air tools
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, or dusty environments)
Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
Comfortable working weekends when required (weather and schedule dependent)
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with access to reliable transportation
Work Schedule: • Full-time, seasonal or year-round employment
Monday to Friday (Saturday work is required based on schedule and weather)
10-hour shifts
Winter work available in interior renovations, carpentry, snow removal, or extended vacation options
