Vidhi is an independent think-tank dedicated to legal research with the goal of improving laws and governance for the public good. Collaborating with various government ministries and public institutions, Vidhi provides crucial research and drafting support to inform public debate and contribute to legal reforms.
About the Opportunity:
Vidhi is seeking a Research Fellow to join its Corporate Law and Financial Regulation team. This role involves working on significant legal reforms in financial and corporate sectors, including bankruptcy law, company law, competition law, and financial regulation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct research on financial and corporate law reforms.
Support the drafting of policy papers and legal documents.
Contribute to the development of transformative reforms in financial regulation and corporate affairs.
Engage in analysis and provide recommendations based on research findings.
Eligibility Criteria:
Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in law.
0 to 4 years of demonstrable work experience in the financial and corporate sector. (An LLM will be considered as work experience.)
Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in financial regulation, insolvency, competition, securities, and company laws.
Salary:
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
