McLean Farms, a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes southwest of Toowoomba, is seeking a Poultry Maintenance Manager to oversee strategic maintenance operations within our Poultry Department. Specialising in livestock and food production, McLean Farms operates across various agricultural sectors, including grain, compost, and feed mill operations. About the Role

As Poultry Maintenance Manager you will take a strategic approach to maintenance planning, asset management, and team leadership. You will be responsible for developing long-term maintenance strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment performance and farm-wide efficiency.


What You’ll Do:

Develop and implement long-term maintenance strategies to align with operational goals.
Optimise equipment reliability through detailed maintenance schedules and proactive asset management.
Establish and lead a proactive inspection program to mitigate risks and reduce unplanned downtime.
Foster a culture of safety and excellence, mentoring the maintenance team and ensuring adherence to WHS standards.
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Lead and oversee maintenance projects, including equipment upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
Collaborate with farm managers and cross-functional teams to align maintenance efforts with broader business objectives.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting, providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as a key liaison between maintenance operations and executive management, providing strategic advice on infrastructure and asset management.
