Founded in 2016 by Varun Khurana, Otipy focuses on on-demand harvesting
according to predicted demand to keep minimum wastage through state-of-the-art tecocurement, distribution, and delivery technology. Otipy sources
fresh produce from farmers across Haryana, UP, Delhi, Gujarat, Himachal
Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.
About Otipy:
Otipy is India's first social commerce platform connecting end-consumers to
farmers through a community of resellers (mainly women). It is building a
scalable, demand-driven, and tech-enabled supply chain for fresh produce that
moves farm produce from farm to fork in less than 12 hours, giving consumers
unparalleled freshness. We work closely with 20,000+ resellers across Delhi-NCR
and serve over 4 Lakh consumers with fresh produce at their doorstep. Otipy
sources fresh fruits and vegetables from 10,000+ farmers across Haryana, UP,
Delhi, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and many
more. Our Mission is to transform the consumption habits of Indian households
