The Principal Product Manager for Payments Infrastructure plays a critical role in shaping the evolution and scalability of our worldwide payments system. Key responsibilities include:
• Defining the strategic direction for our payments platform, ensuring scalability and adaptability to meet global growth.
• Overseeing the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of essential payment platform components.
• Leading continuous improvements to platform scalability, performance, and reliability while proactively addressing potential bottlenecks.
• Managing relationships with payment providers and ecosystem partners to enhance payment success rates and protect revenue.
• Integrating machine learning techniques to improve payment performance and enhance fraud detection capabilities.
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver flexible payment solutions that foster innovation.
• Working with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure platform solutions comply with security, legal, and business requirements.

Qualifications:
• Over 8 years of experience in product management, platform engineering, or technical program management in the payments domain.
• A deep understanding of global payment systems and processing infrastructure.
• Demonstrated success in scaling and optimizing high-availability platforms.
• Experience with API-centric product development and developer platform strategy.
• Familiarity with the application of machine learning in payments.
• Strong grasp of global payments regulatory and compliance standards.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively.

Compensation for this role ranges from $660,000 to $1,000,000 annually. At Netflix, you can tailor your compensation package between salary and stock options based on your preferences.
