Principal Program Manager, Amazon Ads, Partner Enablement and Growth

💰 $5,120 - $8,192 (Est.) 📍 Seattle

Job Description

Are you ready to define the strategic vision for how Amazon Ads recognizes and rewards the partners who power billions in advertiser growth? We're building the future of our Partner Network's status and benefits program—a comprehensive initiative that will transform how thousands of partners understand their value, unlock opportunities, and accelerate their business growth alongside Amazon Ads.

As the Principal Program Manager for Partner Status & Benefits, you'll own the overarching strategy and framework that brings partner recognition to life. You'll define what "great" looks like across the partner journey—from how we measure partner value to what benefits they unlock—and orchestrate alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver a cohesive partner experience.

What makes this role exciting:
• You'll architect a greenfield program framework that defines partner tiers, benefit structures, and recognition criteria across our entire ecosystem
• You'll work backwards from partners to establish the strategic principles that guide product development, sales engagement, and marketing activation
• You'll drive cross-functional alignment on a complex, multi-stakeholder initiative—ensuring products like scorecards, account management tools, and activation resources ladder up to a unified partner value proposition
• You'll influence how we invest in our highest-performing partners while creating clear pathways for emerging partners to level up
• You'll see your work drive measurable impact: partner satisfaction scores, program adoption, benefit utilization, and ultimately advertiser outcomes

What you'll solve:

Partners today experience fragmented touchpoints across performance visibility, benefits access, and recognition. You'll solve this by creating a comprehensive status and benefits framework that ties everything together—defining the "why" behind our investments and ensuring partners experience a coherent journey from onboarding through elite status. You'll establish the criteria that matter, the benefit structures that motivate, and the governance that ensures consistency.

This isn't just program management—it's strategic vision meets stakeholder orchestration meets partner psychology. If you love building 0-to-1 frameworks that scale globally and shape how businesses grow together, this is your opportunity.

Key job responsibilities
• Define and evolve the strategic framework for partner status tiers, benefit structures, and recognition criteria that drive partner engagement and advertiser outcomes across the Amazon Ads Partner Network
• Orchestrate cross-functional alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure partner-facing experiences ladder up to a unified value proposition
• Establish program governance, eligibility criteria, and benefit policies that balance partner motivation with business sustainability and scale
• Drive executive communication and stakeholder management on program vision, milestones, and impact—translating partner insights into strategic recommendations
• Own program measurement and optimization, defining success metrics (partner satisfaction, benefit utilization, program adoption) and iterating based on data
• Partner with Product teams to ensure tools like scorecards, account management capabilities, and activation resources align to the broader status and benefits strategy
• Lead partner research and feedback loops to understand what motivates partners at different maturity stages and translate insights into program enhancements

A day in the life

You'll start your morning reviewing partner feedback and performance data to identify trends that should inform program strategy. You'll spend time in working sessions with Product teams ensuring scorecards and account management tools align to your benefit framework, then shift to stakeholder meetings with Sales and Marketing leaders to drive consensus on tier criteria or co-marketing investments. Afternoons might include executive updates on program adoption metrics, drafting governance policies with Finance on benefit eligibility, or synthesizing partner research into strategic recommendations. Throughout the day, you're the connective tissue—translating partner needs into cross-functional action and ensuring every team's work ladders up to a cohesive partner experience.
