Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/06/2026.
Position Profile: The Principal Project and Policy Officer is responsible for leading and coordinating system-wide genomics-related projects and strategic initiatives; providing high-level policy analysis, advice and system guidance; and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to support genomic integration across the WA health system. The role operates in a rapidly evolving environment driven by emerging evidence, technological innovation and complex system interdependencies.
