The following position is to join our RTX Corporate finance team:
RTX is seeking a dynamic and talented Principal Specialist, FP&A, to support the corporate Technology & Global Engineering (T&GE) organization. In this role, you will be a vital contributor to the development of financial forecasts, provide in-depth financial results analysis to leadership, and significantly contribute to the financial success of the T&GE organization.
What You Will Do:
Perform month-end close and year-end close activities, including reviewing actuals by cost center, creating journal entries, analyzing financial expenses vs. latest estimates (LEs), and reporting results to customers.
Develop the annual operating plan (AOP) and LE forecasts for over 40 cost centers, ensuring alignment with yearly targets.
Collaborate with finance teams across all business units – Raytheon, Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Corporate – to establish intercompany working arrangements to capture expenses for various initiatives.
Address general inquiries and ad hoc requests from customers on a daily basis.
Special projects & process improvements using CORE tools.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, * years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications We Prefer:

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
