About the Role
Yarra Ranges Council is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Compliance Officer to support the Strategic Procurement team. This position focuses on monitoring and ensuring compliance with the Council’s Procurement Policy and processes, contributing to the effective management and continuous improvement of procurement systems.
As a Procurement Compliance Officer, you will:
Monitor compliance with procurement policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Council standards.
Assist in the review and analysis of procurement data, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
Support the development and maintenance of compliance dashboards and reporting tools.
Provide expert advice and support to Contract Managers and other stakeholders on procurement compliance matters.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, identifying opportunities for enhancements and efficiencies.
Experience and Skills We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data and make informed recommendations.
Experience in procurement, contract management, or compliance-related roles.
Proficiency in using procurement-related IT systems and data management tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high compliance standards.
