Job Description
The Procurement Compliance Program Manager is essential in linking operational sourcing with corporate integrity. This role is about more than compliance; it’s about shaping a transparent and resilient supply chain. You will employ project management skills, analytical capabilities, and the diplomacy required to navigate intricate regulatory frameworks.
Core Responsibilities
• Strategy Management & Reporting: Develop clear project plans that translate procurement strategies into actionable milestones, such as Small Business Subcontracting goals and Sustainability targets.
• Regulatory Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on U.S. Federal regulations, ensuring the team remains adaptive to legislative changes including Section 889 and the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act.
• Data Analytics & Integrity: Utilize predictive analytics to highlight trends in supplier data that may indicate financial risk or geopolitical challenges.
• System Ownership: Lead the management of Procurement Compliance Data systems, maintaining the integrity of our data.
• Data Visualization: Transform raw data from SQL or Excel into compelling visual presentations (using tools like PowerBI or Tableau) that effectively communicate the balance of risk and reward.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across departments to balance the needs of Engineering, Legal, and Finance.
• Training & Enablement: Design and lead training sessions to promote a culture of "Compliance by Design" across the Supply Chain team.
Location: Employee must be based in the Greater Chicago Area with the expectation to be in office up to 3 days per week.
Compensation
Target Base Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00. Compensation varies based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field; 3+ years of experience in procurement, project management, compliance, or equivalent roles; Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely required; Sponsorship is not available for this position.
