Are you an experienced commercial lawyer with a passion for procurement and public sector projects? We are seeking a Procurement Lawyer to join our cient's dynamic legal team on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

As a Procurement Lawyer, you will provide expert legal support on procurement and contract-related matters, ensuring compliance with government regulations and commercial best practices. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders while also having the autonomy to manage your own matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising on procurement processes, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Providing legal support on commercial transactions and supplier agreements.
Ensuring compliance with government procurement frameworks and policies.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic procurement outcomes.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating procurement-related contracts and agreements.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded legal professional with:

6-12 years PQE, with strong general commercial law experience.
Procurement experience, ideally within a regulated industry.
Government procurement experience (preferred but not mandatory).
The ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused legal advice
