Position Summary:

The Procurement Manager, Supply Chain and Operations, is a strategic leader responsible for driving sourcing excellence across all technical service categories, including Logistics, Freight, MRO, Utilities, and Lab Services. This role serves as a thought partner to stakeholders and a trusted advisor across the organization, with a focus on expanding strategic scope, deepening site integration, and enabling data-driven decision-making. This role will maximize value to Pharmavite by establishing a sourcing roadmap for stakeholders to unlock strategic value from suppliers while managing a service-oriented operational model to support manufacturing sites and corporate needs. The role will oversee a spend of approximately $90 million. The Manager will report to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, and will manage a team of four direct reports – a combination of Associate Category Manager and Site Liaisons.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all aspects of technical sourcing across the organization, with expanding scope into Utilities (Electric & Gas for OH and CA), Lab Services, and integration with Manufacturing Sites and Customer Service and Internal Logistics (CSIL)
• Manage a team of four direct reports, comprising a mix of remote team members and on-site roles, including Site Liaisons and Associate Category Manager
• Ensure that the Technical Sourcing team continues its journey towards becoming a world-class organization through continuous talent development and the adoption of sourcing best/world-class practices, including development, execution, and evolution of category strategies using market intelligence, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation measures.
• Expand sourcing coverage for Utilities and Lab services to deliver value across multiple sites
• Consolidate suppliers and standardize processes to drive compliance with preferred supplier model and sourcing policies while unlocking cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Serve as a thought leader and trusted business advisor across functions, including Sourcing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, and Finance, to align sourcing strategies with enterprise goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams in complex strategic sourcing projects, including supply market analysis, vendor selection and onboarding, commercial negotiation, supplier relationship management, and contract development and execution.
• Implement supplier relationship management, risk management, and business continuity planning
• Coach and upskill team members in strategic sourcing practices, fostering stronger stakeholder alignment, shifting focus toward high-impact initiatives, and redesigning roles and responsibilities to support career progression.
• Conduct quarterly site visits to strengthen stakeholder relationships, align on sourcing priorities, and ensure localized needs are reflected in broader strategies.
• Lead the team’s strategic roadmap, balancing strategic and transactional priorities with emphasis on digital transformation, data analytics, contingency planning, and supplier governance.
• Enable data-driven value creation through contract optimization and spend analytics to identify opportunities for efficiency, scope expansion, and streamlined operations across functions.

The ideal candidate has a broad range of experience leading and transforming high-performing cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal and external customers to achieve Pharmavite’s objectives. You have a passion for developing talent and organizations that have a learning and continuous improvement mindset.

You'll be most successful in this role if you have:
• Proven success in strategic sourcing leadership, with a track record of delivering measurable results through advanced sourcing practices such as supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and negotiation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and synthesize complex data from multiple sources into clear, actionable frameworks and recommendations.
• Influence and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organization and supplier base, enabling alignment on sourcing priorities and execution of cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey strategies, decisions, and insights to diverse audiences, both internal and external.
• Strategic thinking and agility, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, assess risk, and develop contingency plans that support business continuity.
• Fluency in sourcing operations, including a deep understanding of the Procedure to Pay (P2P) process and experience implementing automated workflows, dashboards, and performance metrics to reduce tactical workload and enhance visibility.
• A mindset for continuous improvement, with a passion for developing talent and fostering career progression—especially for site liaisons transitioning into strategic roles.
• Experience managing organizational gaps, deepening category sourcing expertise, expanding scope to new spend areas, realigning roles and responsibilities to manage organizational needs, and joint management model across categories.
• Commitment to stakeholder alignment and site engagement, to strengthen relationships and ensure sourcing strategies reflect operational realities.

In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of work experience in Technical Services Sourcing and supply chain processes, including at least 5 years of experience in people management.
• Proven success in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional leadership.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Experience with COE and Resource Center models, including market intelligence, risk management, and optimization practices.
• Experience in logistics (freight and warehousing) is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Project.
