This role sits at the center of our content engine.
ROLE OVERVIEW
TMA is seeking a Producer / Editorto manage the technical execution of client recording sessions and post-production delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring that all recorded content is captured cleanly, professionally, and efficiently, and that final assets are delivered on time to our Content Coordinator and distribution team.
You will own the production layer of our content workflow: remote session setup, technical support during filming, teleprompter control, asset management, and post-production editing.
This position will begin part-timeand is expected to scale to full-timeas client volume increases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production & Recording
Set up and manage remote recording sessions using Riverside
Coordinate with clients prior to recording to ensure proper:
Camera, microphone, and lighting setup
Internet and system readiness
Provide live technical support during recording sessions
Manage teleprompter control during sessions (scrolling, pacing, timing)
Ensure consistent audio/video quality across sessions
Troubleshoot technical issues in real time with minimal disruption to clients
Post-Production & Editing
Ingest, organize, and label raw video and audio assets
Edit long-form and short-form content according to TMA style standards, including:
Podcasts
Talking-head videos
Short clips (social-ready)
Perform audio cleanup, video color correction, framing, and basic motion graphics as required
Export and deliver finalized assets in the correct formats for downstream distribution
Asset Handoff & Workflow Coordination
Deliver edited assets to the Content Coordinator and Distribution Team on schedule
Maintain clear file organization and naming conventions
Flag content issues, missing assets, or quality concerns proactively
Follow and help improve documented production workflows and SOPs
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Proven experience as a Video Producer, Video Editor, or Podcast Producer
Hands-on experience with Riverside, Descript, or comparable remote recording platforms
Strong technical knowledge of:
Audio recording and cleanup
Video framing, lighting, and composition
Remote recording best practices
Experience operating or managing teleprompter software
Proficiency with professional editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment
Clear, calm communication with non-technical clients during live sessions
PREFERRED (Not Required)
Experience editing content for thought leaders, professionals, or podcasts
Familiarity with social-first video formats (short clips, captions, aspect ratios)
Experience working within a content agency or high-volume content pipeline
Comfort documenting processes or suggesting workflow improvements
COMPNSATION & ROLE STRUCTURE
Compensation:$3,500 per month (part-time)
Schedule:Flexible, remote; availability required for scheduled client recording sessions
Growth Path:Strong potential to move into a full-time role as production volume scales
Location:Fully remote
