We are seeking an exceptional Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in transforming everyday struggles into freedom and joy.
Key Responsibilities
Design and prototype structural or mechanical assemblies, including wheelchair frames, drive modules, and ergonomic components.
Assist in gathering insights on market needs and consumer trends to inform product development.
Engineer lightweight, robust load-bearing structures (FEA validation).
Integrate motors, batteries, and control systems with structural design.
Collaborate with vendors for precision fabrication and quality delivery.
Conduct testing for durability, safety, and compliance.
Optimize materials and processes for cost, weight, and performance.
Maintain accurate documentation of product specifications, changes, and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
B.E./M.E. in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering.
2–4 years' experience in product development (mobility, automotive, or structural products).
Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping.
Exposure to EV/mechatronic systems is an asset.
