About the Internship:
We are looking for a person who has the capability to identify key problem areas & can come up with solutions for the online gaming operations for ongoing live tournaments on the platform. This role will involve working closely with the Kapleka Operations team, supporting various existing operations initiatives, and devising as well as scheduling contests for sports including cricket, kabaddi, football, and basketball. This role will offer immense insights and learning into India's online fantasy sports space and skill gaming industry. You will learn, and implement strategies to enable higher uptake of contests, and better turnaround time in the scheduling of contests, tournaments, and other initiatives. It will also entail excelling in the backend systems to enable contest creation, reporting, and in-house campaign management tools. Coordination with third-party agencies and feed providers is also a part of the role.
Key responsibilities:
1. Creating fantasy sports tours and monitoring fantasy sports results, statistics, player line-ups, contest creations, contest management, cloud notifications management, live fantasy, etc.
2. Maintaining player positions/categories and player pricing/credits
3. Handling operational and logistical tasks associated with winning prize distributions
4. Assisting and coordinating the customer support team with operations-related queries
5. Coordinating with different feed providers on a daily basis
6. Keeping up with the most recent sports news
Skills Requirements:
1. Knowledge of MS Excel functions & features
2. Knowledge of key statistics (players/tournaments) in at least one sport (Cricket, Football, or Kabaddi)
3. 0-1 year of experience in fantasy sports business operations or as a user of any fantasy sports app
4. Flexibility in working across shifts
5. Problem-solving skills
6. Education: 10+2 or Bachelor's degree
7. Ability to commute/relocate: Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
