Summary:
The Production Associate I will assist the Cultivation team in day-to-day operations within the cultivation and post-harvest department.
The PA I assists with day-to-day plant care.
In addition, the PA I assists the Cultivators in executing optimization strategies to increase the production of specific molecules in Bud & Mary's ******** Iowa's ******** plants.
The PA I is also responsible for pesticide application, fertilizer mixing, trimming, defoliating, and other plant care as needed.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, LICENSING, AND
Experience:
High School diploma or GED.
One (1) plus years of experience in a commercial grow operation preferred.
Knowledge of workplace safety (OSHA).
Essential Functions:
Assist in commercial ******** cultivation and post-harvest production department in a compliant and detail-oriented manner.
Perform all required duties in the post-harvest production operation, including, without limitation:
assist in maintaining inventory, trimming, packaging, pre-rolling.
Follow company methods and provide feedback to management to assist in developing and improving processes.
Assist in packaging and fulfilling orders in a timely fashion.
Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant operation.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of all equipment present within the post-harvest production areas.
Assist with waste disposal according to industry standards and regulatory agencies.
Comply with all company policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
May be asked to assist cultivation team in the garden and on harvest days.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Must be reliable, maintain good attendance, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Must be team-oriented and able to work with a diverse group of people.
Experience with curing high-quality cannabis.
High attention to detail.
Proficient in English.
PHYSICAL EFFORT NEEDED:
Must be able to lift at least fifty (50) pounds, be on feet all day, work in hot and cold environments.
Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, and read and write numbers and letters.
Must be able to hear at least 88 dBA.
