DescriptionThe Professional 2, Product Marketing plans, develops, and executes promotional campaigns that inform the organization's target market of the merits of purchasing its products and services. The Professional 2, Product Marketing work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.ResponsibilitiesProfessional 2, Product MarketingThis role supports Humana's growing Medicaid line of business. Medicaid provides insurance and care options predominately for low-income individuals and families and those who have disabilities. Medicaid marketing is regulated state by state, and this role requires understanding of applicable Medicaid regulations that govern marketing efforts in which each state Humana is contracted.The Professional 2, Product Marketing campaigns may include traditional and digital marketing. This team member will review and contribute to marketing tactics that are effective and appropriate for the intended Medicaid audience. Works closely and collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure work meets the organization's regulations, requirements, deadlines, and budget. Understands the retail marketing department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their matrixed connections. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.A large percentage of time in this role will be spent supporting the Sr. Professionals with preparing and opening new markets, project management of media assets and internal/external reviews, tracking and reporting on measurement and marketing metrics, compiling and reporting on state updates, as well as research project support and participation.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication or Business or similar3 years of business, marketing strategy, digital marketing, and media marketing experienceExperience reviewing and communicating marketing metricsStrong, demonstrated project management skillsStrong, demonstrated skills measuring marketing campaigns and working within budgetsMarketing experience with a demonstrated ability of managing and prioritize a diverse set of projectsExcellent communication skills, written and verbal; able to communicate at all levels of an organizationMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience working in/with the healthcare industryMarketing/Advertising agency experienceScheduled Weekly Hours40
