Position Summary:

Professor of Neurosurgery to lead and contribute to our academic, clinical, and research missions. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of excellence in neurosurgical practice, clinical or translational research, medical education, and academic leadership.

Key Responsibilities: Clinical:

Provide expert neurosurgical care in [subspecialty area(s), e.g., cerebrovascular, spine, pediatric, functional neurosurgery].
Supervise and mentor junior faculty, residents, and fellows in clinical settings.
Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and patient management planning.
Teaching:

Deliver high-quality education and mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows.
Develop and implement curriculum and training modules for neurosurgical education.
Supervise graduate theses and research projects.
Research:

Conduct and publish high-impact clinical or basic neuroscience research.
Secure extramural research funding through grants or collaborative initiatives.
Foster an environment of scientific inquiry within the department.
Administrative & Leadership:

Serve in departmental, hospital, or university committees as required.
Support strategic planning and departmental development.
Promote a culture of inclusion, professionalism, and academic excellence.
Qualifications:

MCh, DNB degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certification in Neurosurgery (or equivalent).
Eligible for medical licensure in [State/Country].
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in academic neurosurgery.
Proven record of teaching, research, and clinical excellence.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Qualification - MCh, DNB
