Job description
SHARE is looking for a driven, energetic & enthusiastic individual who values grass roots intervention and the development of women artisans, children and communities. This position requires problem solving, expertise in mobilizing and working at community level with strong communication skills.
We have various programs that provide a platform for the women to empower them. The Program Coordinator will manage these programs and expand the social programs with existing women cooperatives working with SHARE. The role will require an understanding of the women and the communities they live in, the challenges and opportunities, finding solutions, developing creative and apt interventions with the aim of creating long lasting impact and change. This requires emersion in the field and developing relationships with the women.
Identifying and interacting with external resources, stakeholders and beneficiaries in the community is necessary. This job challenges your skills in development, planning, program design. Coordinating, planning, and conducting training programs, preparation of training materials and modules.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Set high standards of working and have a systematic approach towards achieving project goals, focusing on the overall program needs
• Good organizational, planning, and coordination skills
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Knowledge of women and child development and community program
• Candidate must be a team player and should be willing to travel in and around Mumbai for implementing program activities
QUALIFIATIONS/EXPERIENCE
• MSW/ BSW from a reputed institution OR
• Graduate or postgraduate qualification; preferable fields of study are Development, activism, community empowerment and project management.
• A minimum of 3-5 years (following graduation) of experience gained in a professional environment
• Languages Fluency (oral and written) in Hindi and English. Understanding of Marathi Language
• Excellent computer skills necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
