Esperance Senior High School (SHS) offers a comprehensive secondary education from Year 7 to 12 and provides a range of curriculum subject choices and exciting extracurricular activities.

The Role

Esperance SHS is seeking an energetic, innovative, and inspiring leader to take up the position of Program Coordinator – Student Services for Term 2, 2026.

As a Program Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with the Principal and members of the administrative team to provide educational leadership within the school and the community. You will develop and promote the school's vision for academic success and encourage school staff, volunteers, and community members to share ownership of the school's strategic pillars.

The Program Coordinator – Student Services provides strategic leadership within the Student Services team, working closely with Year Coordinators and Student Services staff to enhance student wellbeing and achievement.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading Student Services operations and line management of Year Coordinators and Student Support Staff.
Overseeing the implementation of the school’s Positive Behaviour Support Guide, procedures and participation in the PBS Committee
Promoting student health, wellbeing and pastoral care initiatives
Developing and delivering programs that support students across the school, in line with the school’s Strategic Plan priorities. This includes promoting SPARK behaviours, positive education, transition between phases of learning, and implementing pastoral care programs.
Liaising effectively with parents, government and non-government agencies
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong student-centred leadership, knowledge of student welfare policies and processes, and the capacity to apply and explain this knowledge in a variety of situations and to a range of audiences. Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills are essential.

Preferably, applicants will have (or have the capacity to develop) leadership experience that ensures all students are provided opportunities to achieve their desired pathway.
