Job Description
Program Designer is responsible for all design activities within defined project(s). He delegates and coordinates tasks to assigned SMT Designers and tracks their execution, keeping defined deadlines and quality. He is the main point of contact for design activities to the Program Team.
Major Deliverables and Responsibilities:
• Execution and coordination of Design activities for assigned Project(s),
• Delegation of tasks to assigned SMT Designers and tracking of their execution,
• Main Contact person in project for Design activities, also for the customer
• Keeping defined deadlines and quality within assigned project(s),
• Assignment, control and reporting of tasks within the SMT Design-team,
• Creative proposals of design suitable for production and timeline,
• Ensure standardized design proposal with maximization of carry over component for his project,
• Manage the GPDM activities related to his project.
