Overview
The Program Manager for Retail Banking Mobile Apps plays a crucial role in leading and managing the development, implementation, and enhancement of mobile applications for retail banking services. They are responsible for driving strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of mobile apps within the retail banking ecosystem, and delivering a superior digital experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for mobile app development and enhancement aligned with retail banking objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile app features, functionalities, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure timely and successful delivery of mobile app initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communication regarding mobile app project status, risks, and issues.
• Oversee the budget, resources, and timelines for mobile app projects while ensuring alignment with retail banking goals.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for mobile app initiatives and provide regular reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards for mobile banking apps.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to mobile app development and deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement in mobile app functionality, user experience, and performance.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in program or project management, specifically in retail banking mobile app development.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex mobile app projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products, services, and customer experience principles.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Lean.
• Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills to drive mobile app initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Experience in stakeholder management and communication, both internally and externally.
• Ability to navigate and influence in a complex organizational structure.
• Deep knowledge of mobile app technologies, platforms, and industry trends.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and security considerations in mobile banking.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in mobile app user experience and performance.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
