Job Description
1.1 Supports the Accounting Department through coordination and processing of all
accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner.
2 JOB SUMMARY:
2.1 Responsible for maintaining, processing all accounts payable/receivable
functions, and employee accounting support activities through the direction of the
Accounting Manager/Controller.
3. QUALITY STATEMENT:
3.1 Provides accounts payable/accounts receivable assigned tasks in compliance
with Eckman Construction’s accounting practices.
4. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
4.1 ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & RECIEVABLE
4.1.1 Maintain all department’s vendor list.
4.1.2 Obtain and maintain W-+ information.
4.1.3 Issue 10++’s annually.
4.1.4 Complete and release all credit applications.
4.1.5 Correspond with vendors as needed concerning past due amounts,
misapplied payments, etc.
4.2 ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & RECIEVABLE PROCESSING
4.2.1 Process overhead invoices and expenses reports weekly.
4.2.2 Obtain necessary approvals.
4.2.3 Code, voucher, batch, and reconciliation of accounts payable invoices.
4.2.4 Input to accounting system, proof, and update.
4.2.5 Select to pay.
4.2.6 Print checks.
4.2.7 Obtain check signatures.
4.2.8 Release checks and route back up for filing.
4.2.+ Process hand pays/voids daily.
4.2.10 Obtain needed receipts for hand pays.
4.2.11 Voucher, batch, and balance.
4.2.12 Route back up for filing.
4.2.13 Maintain and distribute daily check registers for voids and hand pays.
4.2.14 Track check numbers that are not used.
4.2.15 Distribute cost reports for job reviews.
5. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
5.1 Assist in year-end closing and audits.
5.2 Assist in special projects.

8. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
8.1 High school graduate or minimum of three (3) years of position-related
experience.

11. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
11.1 Continuing education requirements will be at the immediate supervisor’s
discretion.
11.2 All personnel shall receive training and indoctrination into Eckman Construction’s
methodology, to the extent necessary to perform their assigned tasks.

Pay: $61,248.16 - $73,761.23 per year
