We are looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join our Finance Team based in Perth CBD. The role of the Project Accountant is to support the AFC Manager and ensure that the management of the project complies with relevant statutory and accounting standards and to work with the Project Management team to ensure reporting is both timely and accurate.

Your focus will include but is not limited to:

Accounting processes comply with IFRS and all other relevant legislation.
Accounts Receivable functions and reporting
Assist the Accounts Payable function and authorisations
Assist with Cashflow and Daily Bank reporting and reconciliation
Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets
Reconciliation of Subcontractors cost
Maintain non- reimbursement cost register
Monitor invoices and all cash flow in and out, including cash flow management.
Forecasting
General Ledger
Cost control & budgeting

What you will bring to the team:

Tertiary qualifications – Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting or equivalent
Membership of CA or CPA or pursuing
5+ years commercial / project finance experience
Experience using SAP is desired
Strong Excel skills
Knowledge of Australian standards
Accounts Payable experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skill
Knowledge of Upstream/Downstream Claim
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with conflicting deadlines
