5+ years of experience in corporate recruitment or staffing, including candidate sourcing

Highly effective communication skills, along with a demonstrated ability to confidently and thoughtfully manage candidate and client relationships
Proven ability to effectively attract and source talent, based on successful completion of candidates through the hire process
Expertise on recruiting and interview methodologies, as well as the confidence and expertise to assist with educating and training business leaders on effective interview models
Understanding of external marketplace and trends that influence talent sourcing strategies and outcomes
Experience using internal and external data sources to develop sourcing strategies and provide strategic updates to Talent Acquisition and our business leaders
Demonstrated ability to project manage, prioritize effectively, and work independently

Salary Range: $50,000 for six (6) months ($48.08/Hr)
Responsibilities
You will be expected to work from our New York office (645 5th Ave.) 4 days/week with the option to work remotely 1 day/week
Deliver a best-in-class talent sourcing experience for hiring leaders and candidates, while partnering closely in close with members of the Talent Acquisition team
Use active and passive candidate sourcing techniques to assess a diverse mix of top talent, conduct initial candidate assessments, and effectively communicate internally and externally to ensure candidates successfully transition through the recruitment process
Source talent via the NBA’s Applicant Tracking System, CRM, and related tools, while also using external platforms, networks, and associations to attract top talent for available roles
Implement an efficient, rigorous, inclusive, and compliant recruitment process while prioritizing talent diversity and candidate experience
Build new, and contribute to existing, talent pipelines for available positions and future talent needs
Leverage internal recruitment data, as well as external hiring trends and market intelligence, to ensure sourcing efforts are most impactful and help the NBA meet its strategic objectives
Maintain a strong professional presence which includes representing the League in all sourcing activities in a manner that presents the best possible brand image for the NBA
Stay current on trends and innovative talent engagement techniques to remain competitive and identify world-class talent for League roles

WORK OPTION: 4 days per week in the New York, NY office

This is a temporary position with an expected duration not to exceed (6) months.

Position Summary

As a member of our collaborative, driven, adaptable, and fast-paced Recruitment team, you will have the responsibility of being an ambassador for our brand, and an advocate for talent. We are looking for a team-oriented, dynamic, hardworking, and creative Talent Sourcer capable of uncovering, engaging, and evaluating top talent and hard to find candidates for open NBA positions across all functions and levels. You are an expert at talent search, talent attraction, and recruitment trends. You thrive when partnering closely with your Talent Acquisition colleagues, and you’re able to effectively communicate sourcing strategies and updates to our hiring leaders. You are focused on influencing a streamlined, inclusive and rigorous recruitment process, as well as developing diverse talent pipelines, because we believe the best possible hires are derived from a diverse representation of talent. This role will directly impact the changing landscape of the NBA, and while you will find yourself challenged, it will all be worthwhile because what we’re building at the NBA is special.

Required Education/Professional Experience
• 5+ years of experience in corporate recruitment or staffing, including candidate sourcing
• Must be experienced in developing and referring candidate slates comprised of high caliber and qualified talent
• Experience working in Sports, Media, or Technology preferred
• Expertise in using applicant tracking systems, CRMs, LinkedIn Recruiter, and various other creative search tools and tactics to find talent
• Bachelor’s degree or additional two years of relevant professional experience preferred
