Join our dynamic team for an exciting internship experience - open to passionate students from Kolkata, Pune, and nearby states!
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated intern for a premier student startup competition called GSEA. GSEA, or Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards, is organised by EO chapters worldwide.
PowerDeck is managing the Kolkata & Pune chapter competition, and you will work with the PowerDeck team directly to manage this year’s GSEA. It's a 3-month internship, during which you would need to be active for two months and have minimal presence in the last month.
The goal for the EO Kolkata & Pune GSEA 2026-25 :
Get 150 student applications and the Power Deck Team from Kolkata & Pune and nearby cities.
What will you do:
• Scouting for student startups in and around Kolkata and Pune.
• Reach out to E-cells, incubators, and colleges to build awareness for the Program virtually and get them to apply to the competition
• Leverage social media to scout for student startups and get them to fill in the application
• Ensuring student startups fill in the applications and assisting them with the same
• Assist in application evaluation once the applications have been received
• Coordinating with student startups during the prelim pitching and final pitching
• Other tasks that may be required as part of managing the event
Requirements:
• The candidate based in Kolkata and Pune is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills: written & verbal
• Proficient in working with tech tools such as Google Suite, Asana, Slack, etc
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Patience and perseverance are critical for this role
• Good Research Skills
• Inclination and some understanding of the Startup Ecosystem would be advantageous
• Go-Getter and a problem solver
What you will get
• Paid Internship Stipend will be provided (Rs.15000 for the entire duration, i.e. till the finals)
• Certificate of Completion at the End of the Project
