Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a strong background in the banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have managed complex projects across digital, technology, risk, operations, or fraud, and should bring both domain expertise and client-facing leadership skills. This role demands a high degree of ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to deliver quality outcomes under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end execution of banking projects across business functions (digital, tech, risk, fraud, ops, etc.)

- Manage diverse stakeholder relationships, including senior internal and external clients

- Collaborate with large internal teams and client counterparts to ensure on-time delivery

- Oversee project planning, tracking, and reporting using tools like Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau

- Drive multiple workstreams simultaneously while ensuring quality and alignment with client expectations

- Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies proactively

- Support strategic decision-making with problem-solving and data-driven insights

- Mentor and manage cross-functional project teams of 10+ members

Key Requirements:

- 6-10+ years of experience in project management within banking/financial services, either directly or through consulting

- Proven experience in delivering projects across retail, MSME, agri, or enterprise banking functions

- Demonstrated experience working with senior stakeholders or C-suite clients

- Strong proficiency in project management and productivity tools: Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

- Willingness to work extended hours and meet tight deadlines when required

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience at a top consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, etc.)

- Education from a Tier-1 institute (e.g., IIM, ISB, IIT, XLRI, etc.)

- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus
