Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ongoing construction project of an upcoming 5 star hotel in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for supervising the civil team and labourers on-site, ensuring timely project delivery, and reporting directly to the Managing Director. This role requires in-person supervision across different project locations. A personal vehicle will be provided for daily commuting between sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and civil construction activities at project sites
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and the labor force to ensure quality and safety standards.
Supervise and manage the performance of the civil team, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to the MD.
Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications, within budget, and on schedule.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including vendors and project staff, to maintain smooth operations.
Implement best practices in construction management to improve efficiency and safety.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field like mechanical (preferred).
Proven experience in managing civil construction projects, ideally in hotels or commercial multi storey buildings.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Experience in dealing with contractors and labourers, with a focus on delivering projects on time.
Willingness to travel to project site regularly.
Professionals with a strong background in construction management with prior experience in the construction of hotel and resort projects in india are highly encouraged to apply
