About the role:

Project Coordination and Support

Coordinate and support intelligence-related projects across the branch.
Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and risks.
Support planning, implementation, and evaluation of strategic initiatives and operational projects.
Liaison and Stakeholder Engagement

Maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and intelligence partners.
Represent the branch in inter-agency working groups and meetings.
Facilitate the exchange of information and intelligence to support collaborative outcomes.
Intelligence Support and Administration

Assist in the collection, collation, and dissemination of intelligence in line with legislative and policy frameworks.
Ensure information management systems are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with privacy and security obligations.
Research and Analysis

Conduct research and prepare briefings, reports, and presentations to inform operational and strategic decision-making.
Identify emerging issues, risks, and trends relevant to the intelligence and liaison functions.
Policy and Process Development

Contribute to the development and review of policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Promote continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and capability gaps.

Your duties will include:

Manage complex stakeholder relationships (in excess of 275 agencies) and their Memorandum of Understanding's
Assistance with various projects across State Intelligence Division and specifically within the Unit
Assist with management of Interdepartmental Witness Committee (ICWC) within the Unit
Review procurement and other contracts in line with Intelligence Collection (and ongoing management of contract)
Implement Tasking and Coordination (T&C) Processes within the Unit and manage ongoing T&C Meetings
Assist with continuous improvement across all Portfolio's
Project/File assistance for State Intelligence Division
About You:

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under pressure.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or classified information.
Experience in a regulatory, law enforcement, or intelligence environment is highly regarded.
Proficiency in preparing high-quality written material for executive and operational audiences.
Further Information:

One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
