We are looking for a proactive and values‑driven Projects and Operations Coordinator to play a key role in supporting project delivery, systems, and day‑to‑day operations across the Trust. Working closely with Senior Leaders and colleagues across the organisation, you will help coordinate projects from start to finish, support fundraising activity, and strengthen the systems and processes that keep our services running smoothly. You will be highly organised, collaborative, and have strong attention to detail. You will be confident working with data and digital systems, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.

About the Role

This is a varied and developmental role supporting fundraising, project delivery, systems, and central operations across the Trust. You will work closely with Senior Leaders, gaining a broad understanding of how a complex community organisation operates, funds its work, and delivers impact.

Location: Greenway Centre, Bristol, BS10 5PY
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £29,824 – £31,975 depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week.
Reports to: CEO
Holiday:25 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus bank holidays, increases by 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 4 additional days.
Sick Pay: 4 weeks over rolling year, pro-rata

Pension Contribution: Nest Pension Scheme, combined 7% (employer 3%, employee 4% as standard)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Cycle Management

Maintain a central record of projects, responsibilities, and key milestones across the Trust.
Work with Senior Leaders to develop and support the use of our internal project management systems and framework, from initiation to closure.
Coordinate the delivery of specific allocated projects or events from start to finish.
Track internal and external reporting cycles for funders, Trustees, and the Senior Leadership Team. Provide coordination and design support for project reports.
Executive Support to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Central Operations

Support the coordination of organisational work planning and annual priorities.
Assist with the creation, formatting, and design of strategic, operational, and external-facing documents.
Provide operational support as required for organisational infrastructure, including IT and digital systems, procurement processes, staff facilities, licenses, and building-related systems.
Provide support to the Senior Leadership Team and Trustees, including meeting coordination, papers, and action tracking.
Fundraising

Support colleagues to use fundraising systems and tools effectively, researching funding opportunities to recommend matches to our projects and services.
Maintain a central bank of fundraising resources, data, templates, and case studies.
Work with colleagues to manage bidding processes, including coordinating information, assembling supporting documents, and drafting, formatting, and designing applications.
Create engaging content (including short videos) to support specific campaigns or promotions to funders, donors, and the wider community.
Systems and Data

Support colleagues to use organisation-wide data collection systems and processes consistently and effectively.
Help maintain clear processes and protocols to ensure systems operate in line with data protection legislation and organisational policy.
Support continuous improvement of systems to improve efficiency, insight, and impact.

Essential Criteria:

Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
Evidence of ability to be proactive and complete projects from start to finish.
Experience in using and improving systems and processes (such as data management or CRM systems).
An interest in generating different income streams and applying sales and marketing principles in a values-led context.
Confident and empathetic communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
Strong team working skills; flexible, collaborative, and supportive.
Excellent IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly and support others to use them.
Strong document design skills, with experience formatting and laying out professional documents – ideally with tools such as Canva or InDesign.
Commitment to and understanding of the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion
Desirable Criteria:

Previous experience in a social enterprise, community, or health and social care setting (paid or voluntary).
Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
Understanding of the principles of community development
