About the role
Our Projects & Real Estate department are looking for an enthusiastic and talented legal secretary to join our busy projects and real estate team in Auckland. This role will see you:
Supporting our construction and commercial property lawyers as well as other lawyers in the wider team
Preparing documentation: legal documents, clients reports, settlement statements
Liaising with clients on behalf of the legal staff; taking phone messages
A wide range of other administrative duties as required.
Skills and experience
Property legal secretary experience
Experience with landonline and associated documentation (preferred)
ADLS forms website (preferred)
Understanding of basic sale and purchase agreements (preferred)
Advanced MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Mail Merge
A “can-do” and happy to help attitude with the ability to be flexible and operate as part of a team,
A proactive approach to your work - the ability to work on tasks unprompted and anticipate needs,
A positive and enthusiastic attitude
An eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Impeccable time management skills and an ability to prioritise.
