Our client is a large Colorado based ******** company looking to hire a Property Accountant. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing property accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to our clients. This role will encompass managing accounts payable and receivable, lease accounting, sales tax preparation, and fixed asset management. Mostly retail locations with some cultivation, warehouse and production facilities.
Familiarity with ASC 842 Lease Accounting standards and experience in lease administration.
Salary
$75000 - $+0000 USD per year
Required Skills
• Minimum 21 years old
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience as a Property Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills
• CPA certification
• Experience in the ******** industry or related field
• Knowledge of state and federal ******** regulations
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Ability to adapt to changing industry trends and regulations
• Experience in financial analysis and forecasting
