• Review and consolidate financial reports to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage tenant billing, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee the processing of vendor invoices and payments, and address any discrepancies.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate transaction posting and conducting monthly account reconciliations.
• Review and approve journal entries.
• Participate in the preparation of annual property budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze budget performance, providing detailed variance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and compliance.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
• Perform in-depth financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with property managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
• Support property managers with financial guidance and expertise.• Proficiency in account coding is necessary for the role.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AMSI is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using AppFolio is preferred.
• Ability to handle various accounting functions is necessary.
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) is required.
• Understanding of accrual accounting is essential.
• Auditing skills are a plus.
