About the role

Underwriting commercial property business in accordance with the AAL Underwriting Framework, Allianz Standards for Underwriting (ASU), and within delegated authority limits.
Providing accurate and timely quotations for new business, renewals, and endorsements aligned with underwriting strategy and tailored to customer needs and circumstances.
Managing end-to-end underwriting workflows (including new business, renewals, and endorsements) to ensure effective delivery of products and services.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients across a designated portfolio, ensuring consistent communication and informed risk assessment.
Monitoring market trends and conditions within the region and line of business (LOB) and maintaining a strong market presence while sharing insights within Allianz.
About you

Proven experience in an operational or commercial underwriting role within a complex, matrixed general insurance organisation.
Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and organise tasks, effectively managing competing demands and resources.
Solid understanding of relevant regulatory and legislative compliance requirements affecting the general insurance sector.
Analytical mindset with critical thinking skills, capable of interpreting data, identifying trends and patterns, and informing sound underwriting decisions.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality, accurate work and communicate with clarity and impact.
