Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging computer lessons to primary students, aligned with CBSE curriculum and digital learning standards.
• Teach basic computer skills including typing, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet safety, and age-appropriate educational software.
• Develop interactive, activity-based lesson plans that cater to young learners.
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to track student progress and understanding.
• Manage and maintain the computer lab, ensuring smooth functioning of systems and a safe digital environment.
• Encourage the integration of technology into other subjects to enhance cross-curricular learning.
• Maintain digital records of student performance and progress.
• Promote responsible internet use and digital citizenship among students.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support holistic education initiatives.
Qualifications:
Academic:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) or Master's in Computer Applications (MCA).
• OR a Graduate in Computers
• Along with D.El.Ed or B.Ed. (mandatory)
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in computer education at the primary level
• Experience in CBSE school settings is preferred
Skills:
• Strong understanding of foundational computer skills and digital tools
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
• Proficiency in lesson planning and student engagement strategies
• Commitment to student development, inclusivity, and a growth mindset
• Familiarity with child-centric teaching methodologies and safe technology use
