Job Description
We are seeking an EMDR-trained associate clinician who is registered in California or Washington and interested in building a trauma-focused practice within a supportive, reflective environment.
About the Role
This position is ideal for associate clinicians who value depth, attunement, and ethical trauma treatment over productivity-driven models. The majority of the population seen is complex and acute.
Responsibilities include:
Providing individual psychotherapy to adults via telehealth (in-person optional if in WA)
Treating anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, developmental trauma, and dissociative symptoms
Integrating EMDR with psychodynamic, relational, and parts-based approaches
Participating in regular individual and group supervision with a licensed clinical psychologist
Maintaining timely, ethical clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
Associate-level registration in one of the following:
California (Registered Psychological Associate)
Washington (Psychology Associate or equivalent associate credential)
Completion of an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or current registration as an associate who has completed all doctoral coursework and internship requirements
Completion of EMDRIA-approved EMDR basic training
Interest in trauma-informed and depth-oriented psychotherapy
Comfort working with emotionally complex material
Openness to consultation, feedback, and professional growth
Experience with complex trauma, CPTSD, or dissociative presentations
Preferred (but Not Required)
Familiarity with psychodynamic therapy, IFS/parts work, or relational models
Interest in long-term specialization in trauma treatment
