Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychological services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. This role involves working with individuals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to promote mental well-being and support patients in achieving their personal goals.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and testing to evaluate clients' mental health status.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients, including outpatient services.
Offer clinical counseling to individuals and families, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
Supervise and mentor interns or junior staff as needed, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices in patient care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including social workers and medical staff, to provide comprehensive care for clients.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in psychological research and practice.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure to practice psychology.
Experience in clinical counseling, psychological testing, and providing therapy services is preferred.
Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches, including group therapy and child family counseling.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and empathy towards clients' needs.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues.
