Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Build and maintain scalable backend APIs using Python, Django/GeoDjango, and design robust software architecture.
Database Management: Optimize and manage spatial databases, specifically PostgreSQL + PostGIS, and write complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data processing.
System Integration: Implement and manage distributed task queues using Celery, RabbitMQ, and utilize Redis for caching and performance improvements.
Geospatial Processing: Ingest, query, and perform spatial analysis on large GIS datasets, leveraging expertise in OSRM routing and GPS data processing.
Deployment: Deploy applications using Gunicorn on Linux-based environments, ensuring seamless integration with frontend, AI, and data teams.
This role requires strong command of Python, Django/GeoDjango, and proficiency in Git/Bitbucket workflows. Experience with PostgreSQL, PostGIS, Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis is highly desirable.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Python programming language and its applications in geospatial data processing.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and advanced SQL querying techniques.
