RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Possess a strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Use testing technical ability across multiple platforms (Web, Mobile)
• Strong understanding of regression and its thorough impact analysis.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify test approach/improvements.
• Proactively bring issues and problems to the stake holder's attention with mitigation plan.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines (under high pressure).
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Game Testers (both new and well experienced test resources).
• Individual contributor role - work on assigned tasks with hands on game testing.
• Jira proficiency - Log bugs in Jira, filter, JQL query and create reports from Jira/excel for discussions and presentation
• Basic excel knowledge and experience
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication (both written and verbal) and collaboration.
• Oversee the execution of test plans and ensure timely execution and delivery of testing results.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements [good Test Case, Test Steps writing experience a must]
KEY SKILLS:
• Experience in testing web-based and mobile projects.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to learn and apply technical (game) rules during testing.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, responsibility, and versatility.
• Ability to swiftly grasp processes, technical aspects of the project and learn and execute independently without errors.
• Good knowledge in testing methodologies and defects tracking tool.
• People management
Good to have skills (not mandatory)-
• Experience in game testing with a passion for gaming.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
• ISTQB and other relevant QA certifications.
• Hands on coding experience/automation
