Job Description & Responsibilities: Statutory Audit - GAAP/IND As - CA Firm (1-5 yrs) As an Executive Statutory Audit (Indian GAAP, IND AS) your responsibilities include the following : - Lead, manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements
- Carry out the audit procedures in accordance with the Generally Accepted Auditing Standards under Indian GAAP / Ind AS
- Analysis of financial statement of the entity and peer companies
- Implement / utilize technical standards to the highest standards
- Identify client issues, convey these and client requests to senior staff promptly and accurately
-Preparation of Audit Reports & LR’s
- Prepare and analyze Cash Flow Statements and Accounting Ratios
- Verify the compliance of GAAP and other statutes for accounting as well as disclosure requirements, including encouraging/advising management to adopt the best practices for Financial Reporting
- Analyze of Profit reconciliation between Indian GAAP / Ind AS
- Adhere to defined procedures (e.g. in carrying out audit work)
- Ensure all work is completed to the standards required by senior staff and clients
- Understand the entity and the industry in which it operates to develop expectations of its financial performance
- Respond to clients in an efficient and professional way & promptly
