About the role:
The Quality and Compliance Manager is responsible for:
Ensuring the College meets quality and compliance obligations across each area of operations;
Manages risk effectively, in line with Board, shareholder and stakeholder requirements; and
Success in meeting these responsibilities will be measured by:
Risk and Compliance and Board direct feedback on WSUIC’s management of quality and risk;
Low risk assessments provided by TEQSA in any external audits or risk assessment reporting;
High student satisfaction scores (specifically related to the quality of campus facilities; and
High levels of compliance across each functional area as indicated by internal and external audits
The person we seek will ideally have the following:
Demonstrated experience of leadership across quality, compliance and risk in a higher education context;
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across networks;
Demonstrated ability to work independently and initiate change;
Demonstrated ability to work with changing priorities;
Strong experience working with international students;
Excellent communication skills;
Experience within a regulated education
Desirable:
Experience in working in an international education environment
