Job Description

Working with the AA | Me mahi tahi tatou ki AA
For over 120 years the AA have been helping Kiwis on their adventures! Today, we're one of New Zealand's most respected and trusted brands. From our humble beginnings as a motoring enthusiast's club, the New Zealand AA (Automobile Association) has grown into a large, dynamic organisation offering many services and products to more than a million Members.
And now, we’re building the organisation of the future – more connected, modern, and purpose-driven. We are a business in transformation, with opportunities to work cross-functionally, grow new skills, and make a meaningful impact. We’re investing in our people, platforms, and ways of working to stay ahead of what our Members and customers need.
What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
We’re on the lookout for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead – CRM to champion the quality, reliability, and performance of our Salesforce CRM solutions. In this pivotal role, you’ll design and lead robust testing strategies that cover business processes, integrations, and custom developments across the Salesforce platform.
You’ll work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure all configurations, customisations, and third-party integrations meet both technical and user requirements. Alongside day-to-day QA leadership, you’ll drive a test automation mindset, embed best practices, and continuously improve our Salesforce QA approach.
This role also includes managing a small team of testers and coordinating quality efforts across multiple projects. With a strong focus on data integrity, system performance, and the end-user experience, your work will directly support the delivery of CRM solutions that enable business growth and deeper customer engagement.
About You | Mōu

Solid experience in software testing (ideally 8+ years), including hands-on Salesforce QA leadership
A strong grasp of Salesforce architecture, data models, and workflows
Confidence leading and supporting QA teams, while collaborating with cross-functional squads
A strategic mindset when it comes to test planning, execution, and risk management
Clear communication skills – you're comfortable talking to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
An eye for continuous improvement, with a drive to refine QA processes and introduce best practices
Practical experience with Agile delivery and CI/CD environments
Familiarity with test automation tools (like Selenium or Playwright), API testing tools (e.g. Postman), and monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog)
A user-focused approach – you care about delivering high-performing systems that people enjoy using
