Job Description
We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and user experience. We are a small startup in the skill based digital gaming space. Some of our games require voice recording and video recording, which will be part of testing.
Responsibilities
• Thoroughly test our beta app across iOS, Android, and web platforms
• Create and manage Jira issues for bugs and inconsistencies discovered
• Record video sessions and capture screenshots to document issues when necessary
• As part of testing, you may need to record your voice or video record yourself so you will need to be comfortable doing this
• Enhance and maintain our existing QA checklist
• Provide daily recaps of testing results to product stakeholders
• Proactively share feedback on user experience and suggest improvements
Requirements
• 2+ years of QA experience in the gaming industry
• Fluent or near fluent in English
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in gaming
• Using large language models (LLM) to generate game ideas for game creations
• iOS, Android, and web devices need to have a camera
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Jira and bug tracking workflows
• Experience testing across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, web)
• Ability to think critically about user experience and offer constructive feedback
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Desired Qualifications
• Experience with mobile game testing
• Knowledge of best practices in QA methodologies
• Familiarity with skill-based gaming concepts
• Understanding of common UX/UI principles
