Hybrid position based in Calabasas, 40 hours per week, January 1?December 31, 2026. One-year term.
The Quality Tester is responsible to help test, troubleshoot, and ensure the smooth functioning of Line 6 products and software. The Quality Tester will collaborate closely with other development staff, including project leads, engineers, product owners and other Quality Testers to identify bugs, report issues, and ensure a seamless user experience.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Executes Test plans and matrices, providing detailed reporting and record-keeping.
Executes ad-hoc testing, looking for bugs by exercising likely real~world user paths.
Enters and maintains current status of defects in bug databases, including verification of fixes and regression tests.
Assists with developing User and Developer documentation, including procedures, FAQs and tutorials.
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
Direct and frequent interaction with Project Leads as well as Engineers.
Direct and frequent interaction with Product Owners and UX designers.
Contact with, and support for Customer Support and Service.
What you Bring to the table
Required Skills / Abilities:
Knowledge of Line 6 Helix, other guitar modeling processors and related software.
Experience with MIDI devices, audio interfaces, and pedalboards.
Background in audio engineering or musical performance.
Familiarity with on-line collaboration tools such as Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Working knowledge of several Digital Audio Workstations (e.g.: Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Cubase, etc.)
Ability to write detailed defect reports (?bugs?) with minimal oversight.
Experience working with Jira is preferred but not required.
