We are looking for a QuickBooks Accounting Executive for eWay Corp/Wagento Commerce. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing our AR/AP, QuickBooks Online, and ensure accurate financial records. You will also have direct interactions with clients and will be responsible for managing sales commissions. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Accounts Receivables: Oversee the accounts receivables function, ensuring timely and accurate recording of customer payments, QuickBooks reconciliations, and follow-up on outstanding invoices.
Client Communication: Communicate with clients to address inquiries, resolve billing discrepancies, and provide outstanding customer service.
Sales Commissions Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive system for calculating and tracking sales commissions, ensuring accuracy and timely payment to the sales team.
Manage Company Accounts: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company’s accounts in the United States, overseeing India, and Mexico expenses.
QuickBooks Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge of QuickBooks to record transactions, reconcile accounts, generate financial reports, and provide guidance to the accounting team.
Financial Analysis: Assist in financial analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Auditing and Compliance: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure adherence to accounting standards,company policies, and legal requirements.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA designation is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge and experience with QuickBooks are essential.
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team toward achieving departmental goals.
Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
