Receptionist at Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections), Wellington (Te Whanganui a Tara)Open to all experience levels.Plenty of opportunities to upskill and develop.Permanent, Monday to Friday role with no weekend work.Nga kawenga About the role As the Receptionist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our National Office by providing high-quality reception and administrative support.
You'll be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, delivering a professional and welcoming experience every time.
Your responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, assisting with administrative tasks, and supporting staff with their day-to-day needs.
This is a role where efficiency, organisation, and customer service are front and centre, with a focus on delivering excellent results and customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role with hours from 8am to 5pm, including a one-hour lunch break.

To succeed in this role, you will bring: Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.A proactive and independent approach to work.Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.The mid point of the salary range is $61,+71 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $57,824 - $74,366 per annum.
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
