Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Contract Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various departments on a contractual basis. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of talent acquisition strategies. The Contract Recruiter will play a key role in supporting organizational growth by identifying and engaging qualified candidates through innovative sourcing techniques and effective candidate management.
Duties
Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit, utilizing scorecards.
Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting, cold calling potential candidates, to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create targeted job descriptions.
Utilize HR sourcing techniques including research, and lead generation.
Maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Support employee relations initiatives by providing timely feedback and facilitating communication between candidates and hiring teams.
Stay updated on industry trends in recruiting, HR technology and best practices in talent acquisition.
Qualifications
Proven experience in recruiting or talent acquisition roles with familiarity in HRIS systems .
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close offers effectively.
Excellent interviewing skills with a focus on assessing both technical qualifications and cultural fit.
Proficiency in sourcing techniques including research, and cold calling.
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and human resources information systems (HRIS).
Effective communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike.
Familiarity with HR functions such as employee relations, training & development, and workday onboarding processes is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
